"My journey with the Victory
Weight Loss
Program has brought me great rewards. I have lost over 68 lbs and 87 inches
in approximately eight months. This is a goal that I never could have
imagined would be possible. My weight loss was complicated by the fact that
I have a serious mental illness. I have had to take medications that made me
gain over 100 lbs over the past six years. Weight gain was only one of the
side effects of my medications. There were several other medical factors
that complicated my weight loss plan. Scotti and I looked at the task ahead
of us and continuously
hoped
that I would achieve my goal at a very slow but steady pace. Much to
our surprise, the pounds simply
melted off when I applied the principles of
the Victory program that Scotti taught me. As I achieved concrete success
with my weight loss, I began to experience an emotional and spiritual growth
as well. I am now more sure of myself, and I have been transformed into a
more whole and complete person. Many of my insecurities and imperfections
have been exposed, and they are slowly being healed. The victory journey has
brought me such remarkable and unpredicted growth. Though it was new to me,
others have been down this road before me, and other will follow. Don't get
left behind by such a life-changing experience."

"I am a pilot by profession and at
the time
I started this program, I was
worried about passing my next Flight Physical. I had been getting only a
Second Class medical. Last Wednesday I took my most recent flight physical
and this time I qualified for a First Class Medical Certificate which is the
highest class that you can get. This has opened up a lot more job
possibilities for me."

"Like
a lot of people, I had tried to lose weight...the up and
down, lose a few , gain them back. I grew tired of it so at 51 years
old and 255 pounds I had resigned myself to being fat. Then my
sister-in-law found Scotti's Victory program
and lost her weight. She felt 100% better. She wanted me to try.
My reasons for not trying were the money, time, and no will power.
"Besides," I told myself, "I don't look that bad." My brother then
started on the program and lost his weight. Now I had two people
telling me to try. When I still balked "no money", they offered to
help and one day I finally
called to make
that 1st appointment to see Scotti. Because I ate dinner frequently
with my brother and
sister-in-law I was familiar with the
type of foods you can eat on
the
program. It's not hard to follow. So
I began and it only
took
a few weeks to adjust to the
right size servings for me. Well,
the pounds did start coming off and when it got to the point where others
noticed, it felt good and encouraging. I averaged a loss of 2 pounds
per week. There were a few ups but mostly all downs. Some days
it seemed like it was taking forever (a year is a long time) but
in the end it was worth it. The program changed the way I buy, cook,
and eat food. It did not change how I enjoy food. I just do it
now by making the best
choices. And what, you might as, was the best thing? I think it
was just the other day when I saw a friend I haven't seen in a couple months
and she said, "Ruth Lynne, you are so tiny!"
